THE SUNDAY SHIFT: What does BOLD feel like to you?

Hi Reader,

Welcome to The Sunday Shift!

I’m writing this from a small, bustling café in Watch Hill, glass of chilled white wine in hand, my husband across from me, and the (adult) kids wandering the shops.

We’re on vacation, and yet my mind can’t help but come back to something I’ve been building.

“I’m building The Bold Revolution,” I say out loud.

He listens, then gently reminds me how hard building a business is. He doesn’t say this in a discouraging way; it’s in a way that says I see the work you're doing and I believe in you.

We talk more, and he reinforces his support with a phrase that might sound familiar, “keep grinding.”

And then, I ask him for honest feedback.

  1. In one word, what feeling do you get when you hear my message?
  2. What action, if any, do you want to take next?

Here’s the message:

"I’m building The Bold Revolution of self-leaders who dare to write their own permission slips, dismantle the bullshit, and create lives that are wildly possible."

He gave me his answers. Now I want yours.

Ideas to Ponder

  • What does bold feel like to you right now?
  • What belief or rule are you finally ready to break?
  • What does a “wildly possible” life look like for you—and what might it take to move toward it?

🎯 1 Focus This Week

Take a moment to define what bold means for you.

Then hit reply and tell me:

  1. One word you feel
  2. One action you’re inspired to take

And remember, this revolution isn’t mine alone, it’s ours. More to come!

I’ve said this before and I’ll keep reminding you… I believe you’re the most powerful person you’ll ever know. One small shift, Reader, will help you believe it, too.

To bold moves ahead,

Jenn

P.S. If someone you know is ready to redefine what’s possible for themselves, forward this to them. This is your moment and theirs.

THE SUNDAY SHIFT: #030 - Why do we focus on what's wrong?

Hi Reader, Welcome to The Sunday Shift! You are not your shortcomings. So why do we spend so much energy focusing on them? I sent a beta version of my new 12 Principles of Self-Leadership Assessment to about 30 people—friends, former colleagues, and new connections in my entrepreneurial world. All high-achieving, successful professionals. And then my phone starts lighting up: “This question hit me hard.” “The report looks as polished as the big names.” “Holy sh*t… I feel like a failure.” “I...

THE SUNDAY SHIFT: #028 - Are you holding someone back?

Hi Reader, Welcome to The Sunday Shift! It’s Monday evening and I’m reading an article on breakthroughs. One woman shared a story about her judgment toward her friend group. An elite, extreme group of runners who train and compete at levels she couldn’t imagine. Her thought? “Why spend so much time pushing yourself that far? Take a break. Have fun. Add some joy.” Then she had a breakthrough. She realized her judgment wasn’t about them at all. It wasn’t because they didn’t hang out with her or...

THE SUNDAY SHIFT: #027 - What’s holding you back isn’t what you think

Hi Reader, Welcome to The Sunday Shift! If you're feeling stuck right now… you’re not alone. Whether you're building a business, navigating a career change, or simply craving more from your life, there’s one thing that sneaks in quietly and does more damage than we realize. You start to hold back with a lurking feeling and quiet inner voice that says… "What if I’m not good enough?" "What if I can’t handle more?" "What if I fail… or worse, succeed and get overwhelmed?" This is your upper limit...
