Hi Reader,
Welcome to The Sunday Shift!
Here’s your quick shift for the week ahead:
⚡️ 1 Habit
Take one small, bold step before you feel ready.
Why it works: Action builds confidence—not the other way around. When you move despite fear, you shift the narrative from hesitation to momentum, teaching yourself that fear doesn’t define your limits.
📖 1 Story
A few years ago, I had a bold idea: to build something entirely my own—a business rooted in empowering leaders to show up with authenticity and energy.
But every time I thought about taking the leap, fear stopped me cold. I asked myself all the what-ifs:
- What if people judged me?
- What if I wasn’t good enough?
- What if I failed?
Then, it hit me–something I’ve known, but wasn’t thinking about consciously: most people aren’t thinking about you nearly as much as you think they are. Their focus? Their own lives, fears, and challenges.
That realization gave me permission to act. I started small—a single blog post, a coffee chat about my ideas, an hour each day to work on the business I dreamed of creating. Every step I took, no matter how imperfect, quieted the fear just a little more.
Today, I’m here, sharing this moment with you, because I decided to move forward before I felt ready.
🎯 1 Focus
This week, when fear whispers “wait,” take one bold step anyway:
- Send the email you’ve been overthinking.
- Share your idea in the meeting.
- Post the thing you’ve been second-guessing.
Bold moves don’t have to be big—they just need to be consistent.
And remember: Confidence is built in motion. Take the first step. Fear will shrink, and you’ll grow.
Now, get after your dreams–with courage!
See you next Sunday.
